Pace Instant Setback (ISB) Tool Stand for TD-200 Overview
An optional Instant SetBack (ISB) Tool Stand is available for use with PACE IntelliHeat and AccuDrive controlled systems. When connected, it automatically places the system into SetBack Mode when the TD-200, TD-100 or TD-100A Iron has been in the cubby for 45 seconds. SetBack Mode means that the temperature is set to just below solder melt temperature so the corrosive action of the leaded or Lead-Free solder is stopped, maximizing the life of your tips! The system returns to normal set temperature within seconds when the iron is removed from the stand.
